A transgender teen and his mother chronicle their lives in this intimate and beautifully crafted documentary. Spanning two decades of footage, Adam’s Apple follows Adam’s journey to manhood while exploring his parents’ vulnerability as they navigate change, identity, and family.
The film offers a rare, authentic, and tender look at a family in transition and a powerful counterpoint to the hostility facing trans youth today.
