WILMINGTON, DE (2021) – Dining Out For Life is set to return on Thursday, April 29, across the state of Delaware. Dining Out For Life will benefit both AIDS Delaware and local restaurants affected by the pandemic. This yearly fundraiser is produced in partnership with Action Wellness.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event like last year will focus primarily on dining in rather than dining out. AIDS Delaware is encouraging participants to order take-out from participating restaurants or dine out safely following CDC and state regulations.
While Participating restaurants will not be asked to donate, AIDS Delaware encourages the community to make a donation while dining to support fundraising efforts. The organization is dedicated to supporting long-time partner restaurants during this difficult time. All donations will go towards the nonprofit organization to help people living with HIV across the state of Delaware.
“As Dining Out For Life is one of our core fundraisers, we could not abandon it altogether,” says John Beckley, Director of Development and Marketing. “The pandemic has been tough on our clients this past year but also been financially tough on the restaurants that have supported us over the years. This way we can still raise vital funds for AIDS Delaware, and still support the restaurant community.”
